The Draper Welcomes Megin Rux of MBX Architecture as Lead Architect

Historic preservation is central to the project's design philosophy. The development team intends to respect the defining architectural features of the existing buildings while creating modern, functional spaces for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Experience Beyond Historic Buildings

Rux's experience also includes multifamily residential development. She served as project manager and Architect of Record for Saddle Ridge Multifamily Phase 2 in Cheyenne, a 116-unit apartment development.

Her work on residential, commercial, and adaptive reuse projects brings a broad perspective to The Draper's combination of affordable housing and commercial redevelopment.

Beyond her professional practice, Rux has contributed to the architectural and cultural communities through service on the Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board, the Museum of Art Fort Collins board, and professional architecture initiatives.

Building a Team for Downtown Loveland's Future

The selection of MBX Architecture adds important architectural and historic preservation expertise to The Draper's growing development team.

The project is envisioned as a destination that combines the character of historic downtown Loveland with new opportunities for living, working, shopping, dining, and entertainment.

With Rux leading the architectural effort, The Draper continues moving forward with a design approach that celebrates the past while preparing these downtown properties for their next chapter.
